in the animation industry. In attending the School of Visual Arts in New York, I received a thorough
and comprehensive foundation in all aspects of film production and my first job was as a
storyboard revisionist for DARIA on MTV.
From there I moved on to the MY SCENE BARBIE & FRIENDS DVD movie for Curious Pictures,
a lead board artist for CLIFFORD PUPPY DAYS at Scholastic Media/524 Films and then working
on TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES for 4 Kids.
At this time, I formed my own freelance studio, FINETOON ANIMATION. With the advent of
computer technology, I upgraded my digital skill set and applied my traditional animation
background to working on a cintiq and in using software applications such as Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, Flash, Sketchbook Pro, After Effects among others.
After September 11, 2001, I relocated to Los Angeles to broaden my career. In addition to
working with Warner Brothers TV Animation, Disney, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and FOX ADHD, I have served on the nominating committees for the ANNIES twice as their Storyboard Chairman.
As a creator of intellectual animation properties, in my spare time I also write scripts, design
characters and turn out trailers to pitch my concepts to major studios and networks. One of my career aspirations is to produce and direct my own show.
